Privacy policy

This policy explains what information GamersZone collects when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it in plain language rather than legal shorthand.
The short version
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into a tool are never sent to us or stored on a server. We do use two standard third party services, Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which set cookies to measure traffic and show ads. The sections below cover exactly what that means.
Information you give us directly
You do not need an account to use GamersZone, and there are no sign up forms. The only time you share information directly is if you choose to email us. In that case we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools record some technical information when you visit. This can include your approximate location, the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and the site you arrived from. This data is aggregated and is used to understand which tools are useful and where the site can improve.
Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and page views. Google Analytics may set cookies to tell repeat visits apart and to compile reports. You can learn more in Google's own privacy documentation, and you can install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on to stop this collection.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com.
- You can also opt out of a third party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
- Where required, ads are shown in a non personalised form, which still uses cookies to limit how often you see an ad and to measure performance, but not to build a profile of your interests.
How we use information
We use the information described above to run and improve the site, to understand which calculators people find helpful, to keep the service secure, and to display ads that fund the work. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, though some features may behave differently if you do. You can manage ad personalisation through the Google links above. If you have emailed us and would like us to delete that correspondence, contact us and we will do so.
Children
GamersZone is a general audience site and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Some pages link to other websites for reference, such as official rule sources. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site grows or as the law changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on the site.
